The heartthrob Innokenty from the Moscow Center for the Reproduction of Rare Species, Maneki-Neko from Tierpark Berlin, and the mysterious Siberian Girl* from Chomutov Zoo have all turned 11 today. Hooray! 🥳

Today, March 31, is the birthday of Altana’s and Fellini’s daughters from Parco Faunistico La Torbiera — they’ve turned one year old! 🥳
All four beauties Ariunaa, Tsas, Tuya, and Saran have already grown up and moved to their new homes to their fluffy grooms (how fast manuls grow!).

In mid-February, six Pallas’s cats from the Novosibirsk Zoo were moved to the Greens Zoological Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre, part of the Vantara project in India:
- Son of Eve 2024 Ⅱ;
- Son of Eve 2024 Ⅲ (Sychik*);
- Son of Eve 2024 Ⅳ;
- Son of Lolo 2024 Ⅵ;
- Lucky;
- Violetta.

The last daughter of Altana and Fellini from their fluffy Italian all-girl quartet of 2025 has recently left her home at Parco Faunistico La Torbiera and set off for her new one — to the Chemnitz Zoo in Germany, where her fiancé, Bob, is already waiting for her ❤️
Her name is Tuya (Туяа). It's a Mongolian name which means “a ray of light”.
On the homepage, you can now check who currently has their paws in the cake — don’t miss the chance to congratulate birthday fluffy manuls! 😁🥳
P.S. A manul appears in the birthday list for one day — on its birthday, according to the time zone where they currently lives.
Together with the park’s environmental education team, we held a lesson for children where we told the youngest residents of Kosh-Agach about their wild, fluffy neighbor — the manul.
During the lesson, the kids learned many interesting facts about the manul. Together we watched the cartoon “Children of Maana,” inspired by an Altai folk tale, and also practiced drawing a fluffy rock! 😁

Traditionally, the mating season for manuls at the Novosibirsk Zoo begins in February and continues through April.
This year, the handsome George, the eldest son of Zelenogorsk, is once again courting the beautiful Mia — a well-known and beloved fluffy lady of sorrow with an alluring look… oh, what a character she has! 😈
It’s not easy for George to find the key to Mia’s heart this year, and even harder to ask her out. He might even end up stuck in a tree again! 😅🙈

Sadly, the wonderful Eva, who had lived here since 2016 and brought many minuls into the world, has passed away. She was 9 years old.
Thus, Red River Zoo is now home to three manuls: Yeshi, Midas, and Mira. 🐾
A new zoo has appeared on the manul map!

At the end of last week, three brothers arrived there from Port Lympne: Altai, Khutga, and Bat-Erdene.
