Meet Sven the Pallas's cat—one of the most mysterious furry residents of the Leningrad Zoo. Sven is a true St. Petersburger by birth, born on May 20, 2014, at the Leningrad Zoo. He comes from a distinguished lineage—his father, the famous Synok the Pallas's cat (raised by Leningrad Zoo zoologists), and his mother, Vtora, also a proud Pallas's cat. He is ten years.
Sven was given his name in Leningrad zoo where he was born. Read more about the names of Sven.
We aren't sure what Sven was like as a youngster, but today he's an avid homebody, rarely showing himself in public. Yet, when he does peek out from his house, his rugged and serious demeanor is striking. Words like “sturdy,” “authoritative,” and “majestic” come to mind immediately. The scar on his nose (the origin of which remains a mystery) only enhances his special charm, giving him an air of mystery and masculinity.
However, Sven's remarkable emerald eyes can evoke different impressions in those who gaze into them. Some may see the eyes of a wise philosopher, lost in thought as he gazes into the distance or takes a slow, deliberate stroll around his enclosure... after all, as they say, "Who understood the life, He doesn't hurry more".
