Vtora—the loveliest Pallas's cat, who used to live in Leningrad zoo.
She was born on May 2, 2006 in Leningrad zoo to the family of Lyova the Pallas's cat and Cora the Pallas's cat.
Unfortunately Vtora is not with us anymore. She passed away on December 8, 2016, she was ten years old.
Pallas's cats rarely live more than 5 years in the wild. In zoos under human care Pallas's cats live longer. Vtora lived a long and happy manul-life in comfort and being loved.
Vtora was given her name in Leningrad zoo where she was born. She and her sister were given the musical names of Prima and Vtora—the leading and supporting singers in opera in Russia. Read more about the names of Vtora.
