Especially the little burst of light when you click the logo makes me so happy! Sometimes when I’m feeling a bit down, I click the Manulization logo just to watch the manul light up.

Pallas Pilgrimage: Prague
My pilgrimage in Prague was a big success. I followed the advice to visit them early in the day and they both appeared. I was a bit worried because the day prior there was a post on Reddit (r/PallasCats) speculating that the manuls might not be in the enclosure because the user couldn't spot them.

No manuls in Los Angeles to photograph so may as well post the pendant I made from a keychain I got someplace off the net. I also have two manul pillows one of which it's restng on. The other has gotten rather flat over the years as I use it to sleep on. (Very comfy) These came from some company on Amazon.

Why Is the Pallas's Cat Angry?

I don’t know whether this book has been posted here. It’s called “Why Is the Pallas's Cat Angry?” (if that translates awkwardly, I’ll rephrase it as: “Why Is the Pallas's Cat So Angry?”)
It’s a children’s poem, written by Elena Feldman, illustrated by Anna Kovalkina. The illustrations are absolutely stunning and vivid, and the text is funny. It’s very easy to buy, at least in Russia, on any marketplace.
The main character — a little boy named Petya — wonders before bed why the Pallas's cat is always so angry. Since these are poems, I also don’t know how they’ll translate into other languages, but I’ll reproduce the text from the book as captions.

I want to visit Manuls soon, but in England some of them are quite far away from where I live. I was able to go to Japan last November and see the Manulchikis at the Ueno Zoo :)

Australian Manuls
Hello fellow Manulovers, how possible do you think it is that manuls could be introduced to an Australian zoo. This post in not a request but simply what opinions do people have on manuls living in captivity on Australian soil??
There are many places in Australia that wouldn’t be too hot for a manul, and even then advanced cooling systems exist. Also, I’m pretty sure transcaspian/persian manuls do inhabit some warmer places in Iran. The steppes do get considerably warm in summer as well.
Australia is one of the two habitable continents that does not house captive manuls, the other being Africa.
I’d love to know others opinions on Australian manuls!!

Timofendiy (abbrev. Tmf). 1 Tmf corresponds to the cheekiness and sweep of whiskers characteristic of the manul Timofey, the universally recognized whisker champion.
We finally saw manuls!
Hi everyone!
Two weeks ago my boyfriend and I went to Budapest Zoo, and we finally had good luck! Lucy and little Boris II. were there! We were so happy that they came out, although there were a lot of people there, with noisy children too.
I think the manul enclosure isn't that big, but they have two little houses, Lucy and Boris II. came out from the house that was in one of the upper corners.
Little Boris II. came out, walked around the enclosure and played with their food. Lucy followed him, and played with him a little, she made sure that everything was ok, even though she probably didn't like the noisy people around them. In the end, the little one didn't want to go back to the house, but Lucy dragged him in!
We didn't see Bohus, he was probably separated from them.
