BRO I'M CRYINGF. HE'S ONLY TWO YEARS!!!

While the rest of the world raced to catch up with fashion, figuring out which was better: whiskey or gin, IPA or stout, rum or tequila—the wise and patient people of the Islands of the Rising Sun returned to their roots and concocted a true sensation. 14 years of aging according to the precepts and recipes of their ancestors. Age-old traditions and nothing superfluous. This is how masterpieces are born.
The body is dense, the aroma is rich, the color is deep. 14 years of aging. The best mead!
Seven times two years to the cotriarch Hani. Live long, hearty furry tuft.

🌸 April 20 is the birthday of the Lev's Fluffy Flower Five: Grusha, Iris, Lotus, Olive, and Primula have turned 9 years old!
Happy birthday, beautiful manuls! 🥳
To celebrate their birthday, we invite you to dive into a manul retrospective and enjoy rare childhood photos of today's birthday floofs with their mom Shar, along with a story about their early days featured in the Japanese book “Baby Animals: Animals of the Steppes and Mountains.”
Enjoy the reading, and may strong cute-o-meters be with you! 😄

OMG, Grusha has almost reached 100 likes! Prinsessa is a bit behind him and needs 16 more likes to catch up — not an easy task!
Tashi is holding onto 3rd place pretty solidly!
Moscow’s lonely gentlemanul Tima is in 4th place with Nar!
What a contest!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

This very day 18 April 2026 we hail the last Zelenogorsk descendant Gray. May he be blessed with true Siberian health, and manul kitties love, and a whole lotta pyrziks†. Live long and stay strong. You are the grumpy fluffy hassock.
† Pyrzik is kinda non-translatable Russian (пырзик) word means baby or toddler.
He or she was on Japanese TV last February.
Anybody knows who this is?

April 17, today we’re celebrating the birthday of the absolutely wonderful Junior Eve's Five!
They’ve turned 2 years old! 🎉
Let’s look at these birthday floofs and finally learn their names!
Beautiful Anya is a mysterious manulady who doesn’t come out to show herself to visitors very often, so photographing her is not an easy task.

"We would like to inform you that we have performed the amputation of the left hind leg of our Pallas's cat, "Saffron." News updated April 15, 2026.
As previously reported in the news, Saffron, a Pallas's cat kept at Ueno Zoo (born April 13, 2024), has been hospitalized for an extended period due to a fracture and deformed fusion that occurred shortly after birth.
After repeated discussions between the veterinarian and the caretaker regarding the possibility of preserving the limb, the bone destruction of the phalanges was significant due to the spread of inflammation caused by the deformed fusion, so the left hind limb was amputated.
The surgery was performed on February 12, 2026. The postoperative recovery has been good, and Saffron was discharged on March 2nd of the following month. Since then, she has been staying in a non-exhibition area. Considering her long hospital stay from shortly after birth, she will be undergoing rehabilitation for some time. It will likely be some time before she can be shown to everyone, but please be patient while Saffron recovers her strength and muscle mass.
Надеюсь что всё обойдется как можно лучше😢

I have been trying to figure out what Manul this is, and reverse image searching has gotten me nowhere! Does someone recognizes him/her, or does someone recognize this zoo enclosure? This is one of my favorite images, and I would love to know who it is!
Guys, if anyone lives in Tolyatti, could you tell me if there are any zoos with Pallas's cats? I want to go to a zoo with Pallas's cats for my birthday, but I don't know where they are. Please.
Hi all!
We really want to visit Timofey the Pallas's cat at the Moscow Zoo.
Please tell me what time is best to do this to be sure to meet him?
Thanks in advance!
Roman, Vika, hello! Can you tell me a little about this new zoo or what kind of organization it is where you found our missing Loloshki? They say it's not a zoo, but some kind of organization that trades animals. Judging by the ownership (LLC), it's a private company. Why do zoos sell animals to private owners, who then resell them to other zoos? Can't zoos sell animals to each other without intermediaries? I don't know how it works, of course, but you're probably in the know and know more. Thank you!
Sad news came from Ueno Zoo: on April 8, 2026, the beautiful Yus passed away 💔

She lived a very long manul life—she was nearly 16 years old 🙏🏻
Yus was born on May 4, 2010, at Ueno Zoo together with her brothers Naim and Doro to the manuls Bayar and Lalaa. She spent her entire life at her home zoo.
In recent years, the staff had noted age-related changes in Yus, though she maintained a good appetite and remained under close observation by specialists. In early March, her condition worsened, and after examination she was diagnosed with an esophageal disease. Despite veterinary care, sadly, Yus could not be saved.
April 12, today is the birthday of the wonderful Lolokins! They turned 2 years old!

Let’s admire what serious and fluffy charming manuls they have grown into!
Here is handsome Lucky (Lolokin #1).

Zelenogorsk was recently overtook by Grusha in terms of like count. And because Gorsk is the king of all manuls and the symbol of manulization, he deserves more respect. I encourage you to pay your respect to Gorsk by liking him until he passes Grusha. Long live the king.

I'm just curious.
I tried to find information about it through Google, because it's hard to identify it myself. One of its conclusions was that it was some kind of wild Pallas's cat, and it also glitched and for some reason said it was Zelenogorsk lol
