saw a post earlier about that someone was sad that Arthur doesn't have many pictures and i feel the same about Pomponnette!
my partner and i went to the Lille zoo yesterday and also couldn't get a proper picture of her but shes really cute! im trying to now find pictures online to fill her page a bit more, so if anyone has any pictures of her please help!

Pallas's cat photo exhibition in Tokyo
A photo exhibition of Pallas's cats opens in Tokyo today. The photos were taken at Novosibirsk Zoo in September 2024 and 2025. Approximately 40 photos are on display, including Karaganda, Lastochka, Snezhana, Lolo & her kittens, Snezinka & her kittens, and more. It is held in a cafe gallery, so there is a special menu. I will do my best to make it a great photo exhibition!
Novosbirsk Zoo map?
Anybody know where I could find a labeled map of the Novosibirsk zoo? Cyrillic is fine; I have it on the best authority my grammar in Russian is too horrible to wish on anybody which is why I don't try to use it in here but given time I can read it ok. I've been using Google Earth to look at photos and the area is beautiful but I'd like to know what is where. :)
While checking out the birthday boy, I was quite saddened by the lack of photos of Arthur on manulization :(

Today, June 17, the zoo shared new details about the growing fluffy offspring.
During a routine veterinary checkup, specialists determined the kittens’ genders: the litter turned out to be four boys and one girl! 🥰
All five little ones have already opened their eyes, their first teeth have begun to come in, and they have reached an important stage of growing up — a gradual weaning from their mother’s milk.

New zoo on the manul map! 🌐
Pennsylvania will soon join the list of states in America that have Pallas's Cats on display, as Elmwood Park Zoo just announced their newest arrivals! We are talking about two males, Kasper and Reza, who have just moved in from Binghamton Zoo.
It might still take some time for them to become comfortable in their new home, so if you live near Philly, please check out the Elmwood Park Zoo socials for further updates, to find out once their time has come to be shown publicly!
Interesting to note is that Kasper appears to have Iris Melanosis in his right eye, which is a harmless condition which resemble freckles in the cats retina.
We were not able to see Kasper and Reza up close just yet, since few images are available of them, so it is very cool from the zoo to provide us with such amazing close-up footage!
