Dear friends, we have another big update for you! 🎉

Institution pages have become even more exciting: we've added three interactive visualizations to help you explore Pallas's cat family trees and trace the history of manuls at each zoo!

🌳 Family Tree is a large diagram showing the zoo's entire Pallas's cat population, inviting you to become a true detective of manul lives and family histories! Discover how manuls are related, where and when each manul was born, and how they traveled between zoos.

🪵 Tree Rings visualises the zoo's history as a cross-section of a tree! The more manuls lived at the zoo in a given year, the darker and wider the corresponding ring. You can easily see how the population changed over time, and clicking on any ring reveals all the fluffy residents who lived there that year.

📊 Manuls by Year shows how the zoo's Pallas's cat population changed in size and gender ratio over time, when baby booms happened, and exactly which manuls lived there in any given year.

And of course, all three visualizations are interactive! You can select different years, explore individual manuls, and travel through decades of manul history!

Visit the zoo pages and give them a try! 🧡
