Az's kittens have been given names!

The names were chosen based on the fact that the father’s name, “Naru,” means “sun” in Mongolian, and the mother’s name, “Az,” means “happiness,” so each of the five kittens was given a name symbolizing “happiness connected with the sun.”

Boy San (サン) - bright, dazzling sunlight:

The date of the public viewing has also been set! The zoo hopes that many people will come and see this touching and radiant sight — a mother and her kittens, which will soon be available not only to zoo staff.

■Time of public viewing: ①10:00-11:30 ②13:30-15:00

■Location: “Asian Forest” enclosure (Pallas's cat), right side *This will be the enclosure with the mother and kittens, where the mother will be called “Az.”
