There is a possibility that the tumor has metastasized to Primula's lungs.

From the official website of Ueno Zoo.
It has been confirmed that Primula may have metastasized to the lungs.
At present, there are no major changes in her overall condition, such as appetite, or in her behavior. Going forward, in order to focus on detailed examinations and treatment, she will be moved to care in a restricted area. For that reason, Primula's public display will end on Sunday, August 30.
*************
It will be sad not to be able to see Primula anymore, but I’m sure she’ll receive proper treatment 😢

I went to Ueno this April, and although I was able to see Mr. Klyon, Pri wouldn’t come out of the nest box... even though I’d been hoping to see him next time 😭

In any case, I really hope he gets plenty of rest and recovers well.

    Health to you, Primula-san!

I hope everything will be all right. You can live quite well with a benign tumor, provided it doesn’t grow. So I’ll keep hoping for the best.

Primula already feels like family. I think I’d recognize her by her face, and by her unmistakable expression. So the news was very upsetting...

Perhaps outside the exhibit Primula will be calmer. I really liked how she handled the amputation, recovered, and looked great. Wishing you health, Primula. Such a wonderful daughter of Lev and mother of Nara, Minya, Figa, Abrikoska, and Shafran.

Primula, our dear, incredible girl and the most important mother!! Please get better, because you’re so resilient! Wishing you all the health of a manul! I’ll understand if you stay resting and recovering in the indoor enclosure -- as long as you feel well! But I’ll be endlessly happy to see you again and again in good health and good spirits! We love you very much, our faraway furry friend!

She is one of the greatest Mamanuls ever. From my understanding of the timeline, she likely had undiagnosed cancer when raising Figa, Abrikos and Shafran.
