Sad news: Innokentiy the manul has passed away ๐
Sad news came from the Center for the reproduction of rare species of animals: Babnik Kesha, Karagandaโs eldest son, has passed away ๐
Kesha lived a long manul life โ he was 11 years old. The cause of death was cancer.
We first met Innokenty in purrson in January of this year. Like a true son of Karaganda, he was secretive, elusive, and not happy to have visitors. Still, he allowed us to admire him for a few minutes: peeking out from behind the snowdrifts with his big, round emerald eyes, as if asking, โWho are you?โ It was both beautiful and very funny! โบ๏ธ
This is how we will remember Kesha โ as a funny, cute, incredibly charming, fluffy little forest spirit, peeking out from behind a snow-white snowdrift among the birches, looking at us with wonder and caution ๐
May you have an endless sunlit heavenly steppe, dear manul. And good hunting! ๐๐ป

What a golden sun this little one was! Itโs such a shame that heโs gone. Let us be grateful that he was with us and so generously gave us so much joy!
