N5—the marvelous Pallas's cat, who used to live in Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
She was born 1990–1996 in the wild in China, her parents are unknown. Read more about the travels of N5.
Unfortunately N5 is not with us anymore. She passed away on January 12, 2012, she was twenty-two years old.
Pallas's cats rarely live more than 5 years in the wild. In zoos under human care Pallas's cats live longer. N5 lived a long and happy manul-life in comfort and being loved.

On March 20, 2002 in Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens five pallas's cat kittens were born to the family of N6 and N5
