Whenever I search for information about manuls I keep seeing the AI videos of people who own manuls. They are diluting our information and must be stopped to ensure people get the right information about the cats we're trying to protect!

I really agree. Every time I go on youtube to watch manul videos I see so many AI generated videos which breaks my heart. It's hurting the environment and it is so sad to see. So harmful and sad. ☹️

Толстобок, We have to fight for the cats we love, we CANNOT give up. We, pc builders, farmers, manulovers, artists, writers, photographers, zoologists and much more, we have all been hurt in some way by generative AI. In conclusion we are not alone and we have the power to change things for the better of our cause, we ARE the internet!

BazPaws is doing a lot of damage in particular. It's kind of obvious that the videos are AI but still, they're giving people the idea that manuls can or should be domesticated.

And, in principle, nothing changes; only the means of making and delivering fakes become ever more accessible. Books were once conceived as strictly useful, but pamphlets and feuilletons were almost immediately thought up for publication. Almost at once, “trash” publishing overtook “useful” publishing. Because people.
