On Sun, May 31, 2026, Timofey had a good walk. From more than a hundred shots, I chose the ones with mood. And the one I went to the zoo for (the princely appearance, the last slide).

Yes, today these are not the classic “I’m a sassy furry mound” shots. What is wonderful about manuls is their cat-ness. Perhaps that is why it is so interesting to watch and photograph them. To catch that kitty mood.

And I will definitely photograph the “little paws where they should be, a stern look that no archenetin will withstand” expression. More than once, and not just twice. But I’ll be hunting for “And now I know what’s behind the door into summer” shots.
