What is that redness above Nara’s eyes?

Does anyone know what’s going on with Nar? He has some kind of redness above his eyes. When he was wearing the collar, it didn’t seem to be there.

When he wore the collar, it was hard for him to wash himself. Over the course of a whole month without proper care, his eyes became inflamed and started to suppurate.
Conjunctivitis.
In theory, things like that go away on their own when a cat washes regularly.
