This may seem like a silly question, but I’m curious: what does a manul’s fur feel like to the touch? Soft or coarse? Is there any information about that?

Please help me understand the external differences between the three varieties of Pallas's cat. I didn’t really understand much from the descriptions online.

And I’m also curious: in zoos, are these subspecies kept apart when mating, or is this not taken into account when pairing them up?

Does anyone know what’s going on with Nar? He has some kind of redness above his eyes. When he was wearing the collar, it didn’t seem to be there.
