The Minuladies from Port Lympne Had a Health Checkup
Port Lympne Wild Animal Park reported that the three fluffy girls, born in March 2026, to the manul family of Atlan and Namuu, had another health checkup and received their second vaccination.
The vets report that all three kittens are doing brilliantly: they are lively and active!
A reminder that at the end of July, the girls were given “flower” names.
We added them to the website, and now it’s possible to tell who is who.
Meet the young minuladies!
🌼 Deizi — from the English word daisy, meaning “daisy” or “chamomile”.
🪷 Pema — a name of Tibetan origin meaning “lotus” (the flower).
🥀 Delbee — comes from the Mongolian word дэлбээ, meaning “petal”, and is also used as a female name in Mongolia.

They’re already so big! It’s fascinating to look at photos of how veterinary checkups are carried out on wild animals. What an extreme experience that is!

And there are several manuls named Pema, but I didn't know it means lotus😁
Oh! One of these little manuls is actually named Pema! What an absolutely cracking name! I've got a friend whose surname happens to be Baima, which is precisely how Pema gets rendered in Chinese, and that family name carries such a beautiful, auspicious meaning. And naturally, Deizi and Delbee are equally inventive and have a lovely ring to them as well!
Pema apparently decided to move away from the flower sisters and went to the lotus tree😅 Little grump🥰
