Three brides for Timofey

Being an official certified Timosha fan I had no single chance to miss that gorgeous news. Sources in Russian:

Yes, but they are still only candidates, not brides. So it’s too early to say; we need to wait 🙏

Анна, Timofey deserves better. Which means three wives.

Nebelbergen, catch up with and overtake Achi!

The next eligible bachelor after Timosha, it turns out, is Chip.

Maybe one of these brides-to-be will suit him too.

I do hope Master Timofey finds love!  💕

Hmm 🤔 Maybe you mean the young ladies from St. Petersburg 😀

anna_yu, Boris!

Vika Malyshkoverified_filled, There was also that version, but they are Timofey’s second cousins, and the zoo, apparently, wants there to be no kinship at all. Otherwise Katun or Adel would have fit.

Although among the St. Petersburg cats, Namika is a perfect fit for Timosha 😆. Maybe they want to send her on a business trip to Moscow while Sven isn’t looking?

Pavel Burov, Pavel, thank you for the clarification!!! I hope that at least one of the candidates will suit our beloved Muscovite! ❤️💋

Vika Malyshkoverified_filled, My guess is that at least one female will be from abroad (China, Japan)

Aren’t Chinese young ladies being considered as brides? Maybe the zoos there are already striking a quid pro quo deal: they give us a girl, and we give them a boy, which Chinese zoos are so short of.

anna_yu, The Novosibirsk Zoo does not participate in the “Pallas’s Cat Conservation and Breeding Program,” but the Leningrad and Moscow zoos do. Therefore, in such a situation, obtaining a female is most likely from the Leningrad Zoo rather than from the Novosibirsk Zoo.

helga ingvar, Kohao and Yuyu would be an excellent choice. Both are from the wild (perhaps that is why they are also undergoing genetic testing)

anna_yu, The version with Namika is hot! 😄

Vika Malyshkoverified_filled, I think this mating season leaves no chance for a business trip. Namika was caught with Sven twice, and where are the babies?
And the zoomer Shunya did everything quietly and without witnesses)

Vika Malyshkoverified_filled, Funny! The Novosibirsk Zoo isn’t taking part in the program, but it has done more than anyone else to help preserve and breed the manul)

Now it’s clear why Pepe was chosen for Shu, and not Lolo or Snezhinka.

And why isn’t he taking part? There are so many manuls there; they could swap them around and refresh the gene pool.
