O-la-la! Meet a sultry Italian macho. This handsome guy lives in Center for the reproduction and conservation of exotic species La Torbiera in Italy.
He's four years, he was born in Tierpark Chemnitz, Germany to the family of Pema and Norbu.
Our hero doesn't have an official name, but we call him Fellini. We think this name suits him very well, as it brings together several meanings and connects his home and his fatherland. Fellini is the most famous Italian film director, and “felino” in Italian means “cat” or “feline.” Lastly, “fell” in German translates to “fur” or “coat.”
Fellini is an unusual Pallas’s cat: on the one hand, as expected, no one leaves his presence without a good dose of misanthropic disdain. On the other hand, he’s very active, curious, and loves to leisurely stroll around his territory, displaying his beauty and majesty. Just look at that gaze—he certainly knows how impressive he is!
Fellini also loves to curl up comfortably and take an afternoon nap outdoors in the shade of the trees deep within his enclosure. During these siestas, he becomes almost invisible to most visitors.
