Suki and Lully Junior’s Adventure in Elmwood Park Zoo

Hello Everyone! My name is Suki! I am a Pallas cat, I was born at Ueno Zoo in Japan.

Yesterday, I took one of my friend, Lully Junior to go to Elmwood Park Zoo in Philadelphia to visit Reza and Kasper. 

We start taking the train from New York Penn Station to William H. Gray III 30th Street Station. it was about 1 hr 30 mins in the morning.

After we arrived in Philadelphia, we needed to have a coffee.

Then we took the SEPTA train to Elm Street. It took about 1 hour.

Then we arrived Elm St.

Tips here: if you plan to go to the Elmwood Park zoo on the weekend, they have a shuttle, but I don't know where the stop is. It was a very nice sunny Wednesday; there was no shuttle, so we walked from the station to the zoo. Please don't do this next time, the route doesn't have sidewalk, we were so scared to walk there, we will take a Uber next time.

Then, we finally arrived!

We book the Pallas cat encounter at 2:30pm.

Before we met Reza and Kasper, we saw them like to stay in the box.

It was a little too far to take some pictures of them. At least the iPhone is not ok!! Meh~ 😠

Then finally we can meet Mr. Reza and Mr.Kasper. But my human servants were too excited!!! They forgot to bring us out to take the pictures together!😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

We could only hear Mr. Reza and Mr. Kasper’s welcome speech from the bag!🥲🫪

But we watched the videos later. Here is some pictures of Mr. Reza and Mr. Kasper.

The zookeeper told us that, for the Encounter, Mr. Reza and Mr. Kasper need to be in the separate places, so Kasper choose to go inside the room to eatse They have very sharp and long nails!

Also, the zookeeper made sure we could give the two gentlemen food appropriately, so they made the meat into meatballs. Usually, when the zookeeper feeds them they will just give them the raw meat!

The meeting is held for around 15 minutes, Mr.Reza and Mr.Kasper said that’s enough for today, thank you for coming, they went to their sleeping box to take a bath and took a lunch nap. 

Although Lully Junior and I were so mad about my human servant, but we still met the two gentleman, I hope next time I can bring a camera by myself. 

We saw many Dogs friends here, it was a very friendly vibe here. 

And the other animals here are very cute!

And they have a veterinary center inside the zoo!

And this is the report of our adventure in Elmwood Park Zoo! Hope we can come again soon!

    Omg what a wonderful experience!!!  The boys sure do love their meat!!  I definitely want to do that too one day soon!!  💚
