This manul was named by manulover Irina, inspired by his charming appearance.
He has large, wide-open, bright yellow eyes with a perpetually surprised look. When he sits, puffed up like a fluffy little mound, he looks strikingly like a Eurasian pygmy owl — one of the smallest owls in the world.
„Sychik“ means „pygmy owl“ in Russian.
