In Nordens Ark she was given her first name—Polyphemus (Polyfemos). All kittens of Micha and Pabu born in 2015 were named after characters from Greek mythology. She was named after a one-eyed giant son of Poseidon and Thoosa.
In Nasu Animal Kingdom she was given her name Polly (ポリー), which she is known by to this day. When she came to Japan she shortened her name to be more Kawaii :)
