Manul of the day

Todays manul is the wonderful Manuel!

Manuel was born on March 23, 2022 in Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden from the parents Bohus and Borsika. In July of 2024 Manuel moved from Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden to Gdansk Zoo where he currently resides to this day. His name has never been Manuel since the start, but it has changed. In Budapest Zoo & Botanical Garden he got his first name, Aytas. But on July 29, 2024, Gdansk Zoo held a vote for a new name on Facebook for him with the options being Manuel, Lazlo and Foch. Manuel got the most votes out of the three.

Manuel has 5 other siblings, Aldan, Altana, Arkas, Aysen and Bob. He also has a litter of 4 children with the parent Ula, with them being born on April 11, 2025. Their names are Altai, Kitten of Ula b. 2025 II, Sayan and Zaya.
