Manulogram

more_horiz

Hi there! And today I’ve got a puzzle for you👀

This photo hides a manul. But to see it, you’ll need to solve a crossword. A Japanese crossword, also known as a nonogram

A photograph of a Pallas's cat
has gone into hiding🤫

The rules are as follows: the number of digits shows how many groups of cells are in the corresponding row or column, and the digits themselves show how many contiguous cells each of these groups contains. If the color of a group repeats, it means there is a gap of at least one empty cell between them. If the colors are different, the groups may go one after another or with a gap between them.

Example of solved columns:

A photograph of a Pallas's cat
a little piece of a blue raccoon

I’ll say right away: this isn’t a specific manul, but rather a collective image of a wild steppe kitty🐈️

You can solve it in any graphics editor, print it out on a printer, or on the nonograms website

The crossword turned out to be quite difficult, so I’ll give you a small hint — it’s easiest to start with the very bottom row, where the colors begin right away and go on without spaces✍️

Good luck solving it, and have a great day🫶
