What do you think, could Nano be brought from Armenia to Timosha as a wife? Or should one take one from the wild near Novosibirsk; at the Novosibirsk zoo they’ll determine the sex and understand whether she’s a suitable match or not

If I’m not mistaken, the leading staff of the EAZA species conservation and development program work about 200 steps from Timosha’s enclosure. I’m sure they do everything possible for their beloved cat 🤗
Timosha is a first-class hunter, as befits a grand prince. It would be sad to lose such great genes... I hope the princess is found soon 🙏
If I’m not mistaken, removing an animal from its natural habitat without special permits is prohibited. And its immune system may not be able to cope with the pathogens of a new environment.

And EARAZA operates literally 150 meters from Timosha’s enclosure. If anything can be done for him, it will be done.
Nano already has a mate, but if Nano and Mano have kittens, there could very well be a bride for Timofey among them (and also for Boris, Chip, Marik, and Sery)

For example, until this year there were two (almost) independent family lines in Russia: Novosibirsk and Leningrad. However, the kittens Shu and Pepe mixed these lines. In future generations of manuls, everyone will be close relatives. Alas and alack.
