Marik—the gorgeous Pallas's cat, who used to live in Novosibirsk Zoo.
He was born on June 6, 2022 in Novosibirsk Zoo. His mother is Mia the Pallas's cat, but his father is unclear at the moment, with the potential fathers being Earl, George, or Zelenogorsk.
We call him Bandit because he had a fight with his brother when they were kittens and for several days he had a bruise under his eye, and he looked like a real fluffy bandit!
Marik was given his name in Novosibirsk Zoo where he was born. Read more about the names of Marik.
Unfortunately Marik is not with us anymore. He passed away in September of 2026, he was four years old.
