Timofey’s video walk. Hunting a quail
Today, Saturday, July 18, 2026, Timosha had a lovely walk. Here is how it went.
At 11:09 local time, even before the active phase of the walk began, the prince was reclining on his favorite shelf. Framed by fresh greenery and with a little leaf shaped like a bird above his head, he was especially beautiful. The audience applauded. The kitty was pleased.
At 12:02 local time, he cleaned his coat against the sand by the porch. Gorong-gorong in the Moscow style, performed by Timofey, was, as always, awarded the audience’s prize. The kitty was pleased.
At 13:31, Timoshenka was washing himself on his favorite shelf. The audience noted the exceptional expressiveness and vividness of the reprise. The kitty was pleased.
And at 13:48, prey arrived. Timofey is a true hunter. He eagerly tracked down the quail, crept up stealthily, deftly grabbed the game, and carried it home. The audience froze in admiration. The kitty was pleased.
Right after the hunt, at 13:49, Timosha carried the trophy out of the house. He is a generous and kind cat, teaching us, leather useless ones, how to hunt. He believes that we are not bald nobodies, that we can be good for something. The audience is grateful to the great hunter Timofey for the lesson. The kitty was pleased.
And a little later, at 13:54, the prince went out onto the porch of the terem for a licking session. The spectators professionally concealed their envy. The kitty was pleased.
Timofey is a wise hunter. After the hunt and the meal, he inspected the hunting grounds for any additional game. Witnesses learned tactical techniques from the great master. The kitty was pleased.

I am so grateful to you, Pavel! You visit Timofey even when the weather is unpleasent and you make reports about his life regularly every weekend. I am longing for new reports during week days and I am happy reading them on weekends. I've just fallen in love with this handsome cat 😻.
I suddenly noticed that, as the light changed, Master Timofey’s eyes seemed to undergo subtle shifts in color as well. For example, in the shade his eyes would look greener, like jade; while in places with better sunlight, they would appear more yellow, like agate.

Annika Wawrzyńska, Thank you! To be honest, I fell in love with Timoshenka myself when I started visiting him regularly. He is a very lovely little cat. A lot of bad things are said about him, as if he were unsociable and antisocial. But he is a good, sociable cat. I adore him, I think.
Figa is the best, Once, in a previous life, I worked as a colorimetrist in the field of digital photo and video. To explain why it looks this way in digital photos would take a whole lecture. In short, it is a feature of the technology. In real life, the effect is either absent or negligible. And I like looking into Timoshenka’s infinitely beautiful eyes (especially when I’m editing photos) 🤗🥰
Ирина, Yes, zoo visitors’ comments can sometimes be funny. When you listen to them two days a week, you quickly stop noticing them at all. And then you watch the video and hear them in a completely different way 🙂
