The “Culture of Moscow” stand presented a character modeled after Timofey the Pallas's cat from the Moscow Zoo at the China Licensing Expo 2026 in Shanghai. Gulnara Agamova, CEO of the capital's Creative Industries Agency, told TASS about it.
“The stand's main premiere is Tusun Xiaomo. We created this character especially for the Chinese audience, modeled after Timofey the Pallas's cat from the Moscow Zoo,” she said. “Today, the character and his digital avatar are being presented to Chinese partners for the first time, and we are confident that Tusun Xiaomo has great potential in China.”
According to her, Timofey has long been a social media star in China and has been dubbed a “star Pallas's cat” by the media. On October 23, Shanghai residents will be able to meet the character at the Wanda Plaza shopping center, where a pop-up corner featuring the first collection, including matching bag charms, will open for one day.
