George, the elder son of Zelenogorsk, born to the Great Siberian Matriarch Lastochka on May 7, 2018, the most splendid manul.

Todays grumpy star is Shar!

Shar was Born on april 18 2014 from Oscar and Tabby in Saitama Children's Zoo. Sadly 3 years later she passed away on July 9 2017. Her name ( Shar ) means "yellow" in Mongolian. In july of 2o15 she moved from Saitama Children's Zoo to Nasu Animal Kingdom, and in july of 2016 she moved back to Saitama Children's Zoo which was her final resting place.
Shar had 4 siblings; Haru, Saaral, Bor / Bol and Honey. She also gave birth to some iconic cats with them being Grusha, Iris, Lotos, Oliva and Primula. She was a wonderful manul and a very shocked one to say the least!

tierpark berlin visit 🐾
hello everyone! today i visited tierpark berlin, but it did not go very well. 😢
we arrived around midday, which was not ideal because i thought the manuls wouldnt be out.
we made our way to the himalayas section and it was beautiful! we saw red pandas and alot of other cute animals.
we got to where the manuls are, and there were no signs of chary and chengdu 🥺 we waited for a while but we still didnt see them. my dad even played manul noises, but it didnt work!

eventually, we left the himalayas. we went to the other manul enclosure in the zoo where maneki-neko is, and we didnt see her. we waited more and looked at the nearby animals, and she still didnt come out.
chemnitz zoo visit 🐾
it turns out, in two days i will be visiting tierpark Berlin! i will visit in the morning before we drive to hannover.
in chemnitz zoo, i had much more luck! we got there early and cold, i thought the manuls would be more likely to be out.
and before we got to the enclosure, i noticed a sign with a manul on it!

From Bor and Polly in Nasu Animal kingdom on April 22 2019. In Feburary 2020 she moved to Kobe Animal Kingdom. Her name Az means "happy/lucky" in Japanese. She only has one sibling, Eru, but she has 11 children. Her children are; Nagi, San, Komorebi, Bono, Haku, Kitten of Az b. 2026 Vi, Kitten of Az b. 2024, Oto, Teru, Mei and Nagomu.

Продолжаю исследовать Новосибирских котят 2026 г.р. В прошлый раз удалось рассказать про Пять котят Евы и Ачи, сегодня продолжу очаровательными котятами Адель и Жоры, известными с лёгкой руки участника чата Telegram канала Манулизация Евгения Клюева как Жордельки (комбинация имён ЖОРа и аДЕЛЬ плюс уменьшительный суффикс).
Оговорюсь сразу, перечисляю их в порядке, в котором фотографировал вчера. Котёнок Адель 2026 г.р. I совсем не обязательно условно первый Жорделик, как я их называю ниже. Пожалуйста, не запутайтесь.

Условно первый Жорделик. Он(а) же с лёгкой руки участника чата Telegram канала Манулизация Ira Демоническая Жорделька. Самый активный котёнок. Третирует всех в вольере. Дразнит Жору. Любит отдыхать в гамаке, откуда выгоняет всех, очевидно считая гамак своим.

I took this photo yesterday, Monday, September 7, 2026, at 17:42 local time. I confess, I didn’t notice right away. The kitty has a wet beard, funny (not).
There is nothing funny about unusual behavior in a cat. Any cat owner knows that. But, mea culpa, not even a twitch.

From Oscar and Tabby, Bol was born on April 18, 2014 in Saitama Children's Zoo. On September 9th 2015 Bol moved from Saitama Children's Zoo to Nasu Animal Kingdom. His name in Mongolian translates to "brown grey". His wife is the iconic Polly which we covered last manul of the day.

(By the way, 9 years old is already an elderly manul, isn’t it? Who knows how she’s feeling?)

Open Manulization and scroll down to the line "most popular manuls." There is no Zelenogorsk there (the great Zelenogorsk). Even on its page, it has 138 hearts.
Please tell me: is this a bug, or are the most popular manuls determined by something other than the number of likes? Thank you for your attention.

Following the update at 10:34 today, Thu, September 10, 2026, the publication Marik. Incident Story from September 7 has been finalized. As of now, we know that Marik is receiving all the necessary care, and that the situation is under control at the very top. All our efforts can only irritate and embitter the specialists, whose work is difficult enough as it is.
