This is my first post on this site, and I want to share a very happy moment with you. Yesterday, I got to meet a Pallas cat for the first time in my life! 🥰😺
I got to see Lucy at Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden. Her companion, Bohus, was hiding, and the zoo workers said he rarely comes out. Lucy was however quite active, and very cute!! 😍😻
I feel grateful that I got to see this cutie and I hope to meet more manuls in the future 😊
P.S. I'm actually not 100% sure if it was Lucy or Bohus, but to me it seems like Lucy. Does anyone know better?

I'm really curious about this Pallas's cat. Please help me find its name, but I think it's a wild Pallas's cat.
Today on the stream, someone asked a question about a game about a Pallas's cat that collects mice (I don't remember the exact wording), so I'm wondering what other games about Pallas's cats you know?
Just wanted to pay my respect to all the pallas cats today. I never thought any animal could fascinate me this much! These lovely creatures give me so much joy every day and help me through the rough moments.
I'm so grateful I could see Tsas some time ago and even got the merch this day!
Thank you all for bringing this wonderful community together and cheers to all the manuls in all the zoos, in the wild and these that are no longer with us.

On the Asaiyama Zoo website they made a blogpost about finishing Grushas new enclosure. It is connected to his old territory through a bridge, so when the Zoo opens again on 29th of April , he has doubled his kingdom.
On April 23, we held an International Pallas's cat Day Livestream on YouTube where we talked about manuls, zoos, read the studbook, and even smelled manul fur! 😸

A festive riddle 😁
On a sunny spring day, Pallas's cats gathered in the Mongolian steppe to celebrate their holiday—Pallas's Cat Day. The master of the steppe—the wild Pallas's cat—welcomed guests from various countries and zoos.
During the merry dance, all the guests got mixed up, and now it's impossible to tell who's who. The task is to identify all the visiting Pallas's cats, and also find the master of the steppe—the wild Pallas's cat.
The move was planned for April 29th, but apparently they rushed and prepared Grusha's new home for the holiday, and now, on International Pallas's Cat Day, our precious Grusha is no longer jumping on the old wobbly shelves! Hooray! 🎉🎉🎉

My birthday is today (23rd April) and I'm very grateful for sharing this special day with manuls all around the world 😸 I wish them to stay happy and healthy. As my birthday gift I went to the zoo last weekend and saw a manul for the first time in my life. It melted my heart to see one of them (lovely Tsas) so close. Have a beautiful day today and celebrate it for them 💚
I love this day！！It is a celebration dedicated to the adorable manul that we all adore！！
I just had a chat with the zookeeper at Edinburgh Zoo (typing this while Akiko stares at me) and he was saying that due to airline strikes and paperwork Duchess hasn't arrived yet. I was also told that depending on timeframe they're looking at getting a female from England (I believe it was port lympne) instead. I now have the free time to visit so I'll be going once a week or so to check it out, but I also have an adoption on the manuls here so I should receive an email whenever who the girl is arrives... I just wanted to update for accuracy. I was told if it ends up being the female from England she should be here in the next two or three weeks so I will be keeping my eye out.
The special guide on International Pallas's Cat Day was held by zookeepers at Nogeyama zoo.
The zookeeper explained the Pallas's cat's ecology, Figa's personality, and his life at the zoo.
And we were able to see his birthday present up close!
