Fangfang—the marvelous Pallas's cat, who used to live in Qushui Zoo.

He was born in the spring of 2023 in the wild in Nagqu Diqu, China, his parents are unknown. Read more about the travels of Fangfang.

He and his two siblings were found in a construction site in Nagqu and delivered to the zoo.

Unfortunately Fangfang is not with us anymore.

In China he was given his name Fangfang (方方). It's not an official name; it was given to him by Chinese manulovers. Fangfang means “a square” in Chinese. The public gave him this name because of the shape of his head.
