Vasilisa—the marvelous Pallas's cat, who used to live in Riga Zoo.
She was born in the spring of 1978 in the wild in Tuva Republic, Russia, her parents are unknown. Read more about the travels of Vasilisa.
Unfortunately Vasilisa is not with us anymore. She passed away on July 24, 1988, she was ten years old.
Pallas's cats rarely live more than 5 years in the wild. In zoos under human care Pallas's cats live longer. Vasilisa lived a long and happy manul-life in comfort and being loved.
