Maituk—the marvelous Pallas's cat, who used to live in Lumigny Safari Reserve.
He was born on March 21, 2002 in Parco Faunistico La Torbiera to the family of Qatz the Pallas's cat and Madre the Pallas's cat. Read more about the travels of Maituk.
Unfortunately Maituk is not with us anymore. He passed away on January 3, 2019, he was sixteen years old.
Pallas's cats rarely live more than 5 years in the wild. In zoos under human care Pallas's cats live longer. Maituk lived a long and happy manul-life in comfort and being loved.
