She was captured by local residents at about one to one and a half years old when she tried to sneak into a chicken coop. The cat was very weak and hungry, so she was taken to the rehabilitation center at the Karakol Zoo to regain her strength. She stayed there for a while, and after a course of treatment and nourishment, she was released back home—to the native steppes of Kyrgyzstan, into the wild.

In 2015 Knjazhna Karakol'skaja moved from Kyrgyzstan to Karakol Zoo. She was captured in a village. She was very weak. She was taken to rehab.
In 2016 Knjazhna Karakol'skaja moved from Karakol Zoo to Kyrgyzstan. She was release to the wild.
